Terms of Use
Clear terms for recording shared expenses, preserving ledger history, and using Spleasy responsibly.
These terms apply when you access or use Spleasy. By using Spleasy, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
The service
Spleasy helps people record shared expenses, view balances, raise change requests, and record settlements. Spleasy does not hold or transfer funds, provide banking services, collect debts, convert currencies, or verify that an underlying expense or payment occurred. Users remain responsible for checking records and resolving obligations.
Your account and groups
You must provide accurate account information, protect access to your device and account, and use Spleasy lawfully. Group members may see records relevant to their shared group. You must have a valid reason to invite a person or enter information about them. Do not impersonate others, abuse invitations, interfere with the service, or upload unlawful or harmful content.
Financial record integrity
Expenses and confirmed settlements affect the displayed ledger. Corrections, disputes, voids, and membership changes are retained as history rather than silently rewriting past records. Simplified settlement suggestions change suggested payment paths, not the source expense history.
Spleasy Pro
Public downloads are marked coming soon while store listings are unavailable. Pro purchases are available only when enabled in the app and supported by an available store offer. Where subscriptions are offered, the store displays the available plan, local price, taxes, billing period, any introductory offer, eligibility and renewal terms before purchase. No trial or price is promised unless it appears in that store offer. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the applicable store before renewal. Deleting Spleasy does not cancel a subscription. Use the store's subscription settings to cancel and Spleasy's restore option to restore an eligible purchase.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service to maintain security, comply with law, or improve Spleasy. We may restrict abusive accounts. We aim to preserve shared financial history, but the service is provided on an "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Spleasy is not responsible for disputes between users, incorrect user-entered records, missed payments, currency movements, indirect loss, or decisions made from the displayed ledger. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
